2.4.3 Managed Clinical Networks and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
Dicom Explorer is highly adaptable with bespoke interfaces for multi-disciplinary teams and managed clinical networks. Pukka-J has been chosen by AxSys Technology Ltd to provide the image management component for a Project for Telemedicine Support for the West of Scotland Managed Clinical Network (MCN).
Pukka-J's Dicom Explorer has been successfully embedded into Axsys Technology's product Exelicare. Exelicare will be used as clinical information and image management system. The MCN is a network of clinicians from the West of Scotland who collaborate in the care of patients with gynaecological cancer through Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, which are conducted through video conferencing. Dicom Explorer will be installed at the following sites allowing clinicians from these sites to access a single image database:
- The Beatson Oncology Centre, Glasgow.
- Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.
- Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock.
- Falkirk Royal Infirmary, Falkirk.
- Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.
- Wishaw General Hospital, Lanarkshire.
