UK healthcare / Global connectivity

Connected imaging for NHS and private healthcare teams.

Pukka-j is a UK healthcare imaging and interoperability software company. Nexus, Nexus IS and Nexus PACS address the connections between systems, clinical information and medical images, with solutions shaped around each organisation’s pathway.

01

Connect an existing imaging estate

Start with the systems already supporting your service. Nexus can provide DICOM and clinical information connectivity around modalities, RIS, PACS, archives and external services. Identify where manual transfers, disconnected workflows or missing context interrupt the imaging journey.

02

Coordinate work across sites

Explore routing, relevant prior retrieval, remote reporting and report return for distributed imaging services. Nexus IS can be considered for information and clinical workflow, with Nexus PACS providing cloud image management and sharing where these are required.

03

Bring assurance into discovery

Involve clinical safety, information governance, cybersecurity and operational teams early. Use the Trust & Assurance page to start a discussion about applicable documentation, current evidence and deployment scope. Request the evidence your procurement process needs before agreeing an implementation.

04

Define a practical starting point

A useful first discussion covers the service problem, existing systems, participating sites, expected volumes and intended outcome. Agree a representative workflow for demonstration and identify the interfaces, deployment arrangements and support responsibilities to assess next.

Common questions

Before we connect.

Do we need to replace all our imaging systems?

No. The starting point can be a specific integration or workflow. Nexus, Nexus IS and Nexus PACS are distinct products; the appropriate scope depends on your existing systems and service requirements.

Can we discuss NHS procurement and assurance requirements?

Yes. Bring the requirements and evidence checklist used by your organisation. Ask Pukka-j about the relevant product, version, deployment and documentation rather than assuming a certification or approval applies to every service.

Does Pukka-j welcome international projects?

Yes. Contact the team with your location, participating systems and proposed workflow so deployment, connectivity and support requirements can be discussed.
